Snes9x is a very good emulator, regularely updated. I think this is the most interesting to port on Atari.

Aranym emulates an Atari-like machine. The nearest existing hardware would be a Falcon with an Afterburner 040 card. The goal is to allow Atari programs to run at the maximal speed allowed by the host machine, which is very useful for lengthy processings, like for example compiling huge software. It is used to run Linux/m68k and build programs for it.
